Technical Deep Dive: The icA11y Rendering Engine

To achieve Level AAA compliance, IonianCore employs a proprietary client-side injection engine (icA11y) that performs real-time DOM manipulation and CSS Object Model (CSSOM) overrides. This ensures adherence to strict ISO-9241-171 ergonomic standards.

👁️

Vision & Contrast Engine

Heuristic Contrast Override: The engine forces a Luminosity Contrast Ratio of 21:1 by injecting a high-fidelity monochrome palette (Yellow #FFFF00 on Black #000000). This bypasses the standard 7:1 requirement, ensuring maximum perception for users with Retinitis Pigmentosa or Cataracts.

🧠

Neuro-Cognitive Processing

Dyslexia & Cognitive Load: We utilize Grapheme Rotation Mitigation. By swapping the font stack to a weighted, non-symmetrical typeface, we reduce the "mirror effect" of letters (b/d, p/q). Additionally, the "Monochrome Mode" reduces sensory overload for users on the Autism spectrum.

🎮

Motor Function Assist

Target Acquisition Enhancement: To comply with Fitts's Law regarding motor impairments, the "Cursor Mode" injects a high-visibility SVG pointer, increasing the clickable surface area perception. Keyboard navigation utilizes a Zero-Trap Focus Ring logic to ensure users never get stuck in a loop.

⚖️

Responsive Scaling

Dynamic Relative Units: The "Text +" mode does not simply zoom the page. It modifies the root rem values, causing a Cascading Reflow of all container elements. This ensures content remains legible and bounded within the viewport without horizontal scrolling (WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow).
